Sunday Brunch #8 + Giveaway: Cole McCade

Today we chat with
who's latest title, The Lost, just released this past Tuesday.

If people were thrown in jail for bad habits, what would be your crime?
Forgetting to lock and sometimes even fully close the front door. Anyone could walk in our house, half the time.

If you had a superpower, what would it be?
Metamorphosis. To be able to change my appearance at whim, in subtle or even drastic ways.

What would your superhero name be?
Shiki. It's actually my nickname among friends because I look like an anime villain, to them. It's a Japanese male name that also means "time of death."

Chunky or Creamy?

Who is your favorite Disney Princess?

If you were a stalker, would you be good at it?
Yes. I'm very good at finding information when I need it, and people tend to trust me with pretty much their life stories and most personal details. Not that I'm proud of the fact that I'd be a good stalker.

You are forced into karaoke, what song do you sing?
One Direction's "Drag Me Down."

Godzilla or King Kong?

You are an alien with your own spaceship, who do you abduct?
That's a hard one. Um...Tilda Swinton. I'm not 100% convinced she isn't one of us anyway, if I'm an alien...but she's stunning and strange and I love her.

We come to your house for dinner, what are we eating?
I probably won't know until 5 minutes before you get there. I'm an improvisational foodie. I make up recipes on the fly. Whitefish marinated in champagne and nutmeg, then garnished with mint and almonds, wrapped in palm leaves, and baked.

Pick two celebrities to be your parents.
Lucy Liu and Tom Hiddleston.

Series: Crow City
Release Date: August 25, 2015
Publisher: Cole McCade
Genre: Dark / Erotica

There's something wrong with Leigh.

She's known it her whole life. She knows it every time she spreads her legs. Every time she begs for the pain, the pleasure, the heat of a hard man driving deep inside. She's a slave to her own twisted lusts--and it's eating her alive. She loves it. She craves it. Sex is her drug, and she's always chasing her next fix. But nothing can satisfy her addiction, not even the nameless men she uses and tosses aside. No one's ever given her what she truly needs.

Until Gabriel Hart.

Cold. Controlled. Impenetrable. Ex-Marine Gabriel Hart isn't the kind of man to come running when Leigh crooks her pretty little finger. She loathes him. She hungers for him. He's the only one who understands how broken she is, and just what it takes to satisfy the emptiness inside. But Gabriel won't settle for just one night. He wants to claim her, keep her, make her forever his. Together they are the lost, the ruined, the darkness at the heart of Crow City.

But Leigh has a darkness of her own. A predator stalking through her past--one she'll do anything to escape.

Even if it means running from the one man who could love her...and leaving behind something more precious to her than life itself.
